Free Bibles and Christian Literature Reaches Tanzania Church Leaders
CSM’s second container of 2024 was loaded up way back when we were (mostly) still in coats. You may have read about it in our last newsletter, but to recap: 31,576 pounds of free Bibles and Christian literature were sent to the Lake Tanganyika Development and Relief Organization located in the country of Tanzania, Africa.
This container took a vacation in the Bahamas on is slow way across the Atlantic, but did arrive after almost 5 months.
We are grateful to hear that the customs clearing was uneventful! One of our most repeated prayers around our lunch table here is that our receiving ministries are blessed with a fast and inexpensive clearing process.
TADRO has started to distribute the books, and one of the first stops was a leadership conference. From Tanzania:
“Greeting you today from Tanzania, We finished well the church leadership training at Butiama in Mara region. More than 600 participants attended. We distributed books and Bibles and people are very excited. We thank you all for big support in our ministry. May God continue to use you all for His purpose. I attached some pictures. Be bless Pastor Elias Mpanilehi “
The Voice of the Martyrs considers Tanzania to be a hostile country. To learn more about how you can specifically pray for believers and the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, see VoM’s Tanzania Prayer Guide.
Thank you to our generous supporters for making this outreach possible. Please consider donating books, volunteering, or financially supporting CSM Canada to keep this Gospel work going. It is only with your support that we are able to continue sending free Bibles and Christian literature to people who desperately desire them.
To God be the glory.

I am in search of free bibles to give out to people I evangelize to. Do you provide free bibles?

Thanks for reaching out Sheryl! We are currently focusing on sending containers of Bibles and evangelical books to places where they aren’t readily available.
